Paper Submission

We are pleased to invite you to submit your contribution for presentation at our conference.

To accommodate different needs, the conference offers two submission deadlines. The early submission deadline is intended for participants who require a visa to travel to Germany or prefer additional time for travel planning. The regular submission deadline is available for those who need more time to finalize their paper or abstract and do not anticipate travel-related complications. Both submission rounds undergo a separate review process. Double submissions of the same or a revised version of a paper are not allowed. Authors must choose one deadline and adhere to the respective review timeline.

  • 14.04.2025 – First submission of abstracts or papers
  • 25.05.2025 – Second submission of abstracts or papers
  • 01.06.2025 – Notification of acceptance of the first submission
  • 15.07.2025 – Notification of acceptance of the second submission
  • 10.08.2025 – Submission of the final version
  • 10.08.2025 – Early Bird registration
  • 30.09.2025 – Start of IEEE HISTELCON

All submissions are peer-reviewed at least by two experts and must fulfil one of the following conditions:

  1. Abstract Submission
    • Submit a concise abstract of 1-2 pages detailing your research.
    • Accepted abstracts will require the author(s) to present their work through a presentation during the conference.
  2. Full Paper Submission
    • Authors may also choose to submit a full paper in addition to the abstract. Full papers should be between 4-6 pages in length.
    • Accepted papers will require the author(s) to present their work through a presentation during the conference.
    • Accepted full papers which are presented by an author will be published in the official proceedings of the conference through IEEE Xplore.
    • IEEE template has to be used.

Regardless of whether you submit an abstract or a full paper, at least one author must be registered. Maximal two submissions are allowed from the same registered author. The paper should be submitted to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=histelcon2025.

All submissions will undergo the same reviewing process.

The paper should follow the IEEE Templates which can be downloaded at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.
